EXTECH provides turnkey technical support during routine plant maintenance and turnaround shutdowns. We evaluate, plan, and supervise repair work packages for pressure vessels, piping networks, storage tanks, and mechanical systems in full compliance with ASME, API, NBIC, and international engineering standards.
1. Planning & Scheduling of Repairs
Developing detailed, code-compliant work packages, estimating material and labor requirements, and scheduling job sequences for routine maintenance and major turnaround events.
2. Preparation & Review of Repair Procedures
Technical evaluation and creation of site-specific Repair Method Statements (RMS), welding procedures, and Work Instructions tailored to governing codes and client specifications.
3. Testing Regimes & Final Acceptance
Defining pressure test regimes (hydrostatic or pneumatic), operational checkouts, tightness testing, and key performance indicators required for formal operational sign-off.
4. Repair Risk & Management of Change (MOC)
Conducting Job Safety Analyses (JSA), hazard reviews, and Management of Change (MOC) assessments to identify and eliminate safety or operational hazards prior to execution.
5. Field Surveillance & Final QA/QC Dossiers
On-site quality surveillance throughout execution, culminating in a complete Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) final dossier with test certificates, material traceability, NDT records, and final sign-offs.
